SouthPaws Veterinary Referral Center and Potomac Cairn Terrier Club are pleased to announce the sponsoring of a Health Screening Clinic. Beth Wilder-Wilson, LVT, will perform blood tests for Bile Acid screening as well as other requested blood tests. The results will be sent out by SouthPaws. Dr. Nancy Bromberg, VMD, DACVO, ophthalmology, will perform eye examinations/CERFS, and Dr. Cynthia Sloan, DVM, DACVR, radiology, will perform ultrasounds for kidney screening. Please note that you will need to bring your dog(s) registration number and DOB if you would like to have CERF certificates.
The price for each test per dog is as follows: Bile Acid -$32; Eye examinations - $30; Ultrasound Kidney screening - $80. If you would like to request further blood work and cost, please contact Beth Wilder-Wilson at beth.wilson@southpaws.com.
Please fill out the registration form and send it to Peggy Slattery, 26 Powhattan Trail, Hedgesville, WV 25427 by November 5th. You may email Peggy to register your information if you so wish. Payment is not required at this time but will be necessary the day of screening, November 15th. Also of note, credit cards will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to SouthPaws Veterinary Referral Center.
The Ashburn Wolves will provide a box lunch for $8.00. The proceeds will support Ellie Wilson’s soccer team – a worthy cause! We hope you will plan to attend this clinic with your dog(s). If you have already pre-registered, you do not need to fill out another form, but you will need to pay the day of testing.
