Explanations of PCTC Awards

Each year the work of many people assures the success of our club. In recognition of many of these contributions, the President and board members have the option to give specified awards. Here is a brief explanation of each.

Presidentís Award
The recipient is chosen by the President in recognition for hard work and support that makes the Presidentís job run smoothly, efficiently, and more easily.

Special Service Award
This award is given to the individual whose hard work, skills, and contributions benefit all members of the club.

Rescue Award
This award is given to the club member who has gone above and beyond to help the dogs in our foster program; rescue committee members make this selection.

Sportsmanship Award
An award that has been a long-standing tradition in PCTC. The recipient demonstrates the qualities of respect, selflessness, integrity, and genuine concern for others in dealings with people and dogs. The winner is nominated by the previous winner.
